My only opinion . . . first I would not knit this for $500. Too much time and I can't imagine the wrist cramps. Second, I also do not jump on the designers' bandwagon with current fashion. I wear what looks good on my body type and what is comfortable. I own 1 pair of heels for crying out loud. But in regards to this, if its a fetish, go get em. Just realize that others do not find it appealing or exciting. Like me. I prefer my man naked. Since that makes it much easier to preform the acts which most fetishes lead to. Generally, I believe most on here, from reading them all, simply want to point out the tightness in the crotch area, which leads to what is called camel toe, which if you are wanting to S&M your mate, a perpetual crotch wedgy would be the trick. I do knit tea cosies, but I do drink tea, and like it staying warm for longer. And we are looking at a slight culture difference across the pond. There. . . my opinion.

I am the buyer, who ordered this "Monstrositie" on ebay. Just to advice you witty hecklers that I do infact wear this often. It is especially comforting on cool early morning jogs. Good day.

I'm allergic to both mohair and angora. I can imagine being forced to wear this catsuit would indeed excite someone. It's amazing how people can find sexual stimulation in the most mundane things. Like vanilla pudding.

Isobel is a wonderful knitter and I would love to have either of these catsuits...

Just because you are too closed minded to see/feel the beauty in her work, doesn't mean nobody does. There may be more of you that don't like these then there are those of us that do, but there are more of us then you think. Angora and Mohair are a way of life...and adiction more powerful then any drug!

I am thinking like this.
How many of you that really know how to knit, and design your own knittings...would NOT knit a mohair catsuit, if you were paid $500?

Well, after finding this site and reading the comments above, I'm struck by what a bunch of prudes most of you are. And, WhatNotToKnit, your opinion is just that...and you know what they say about opinions. But please, don't let me stop all of you hens from criticizing Mohairknitter's looks, color choice, style choice, knitwear selection, price, etc, etc.
I mean really...are you all that perfect?
Maybe you should all grow up, shut up, and get a life.
And now, after one (and there will only be one) experience on this site.....see ya.

So we revert to name calling and criticism, not constructive in nature, which exudes an enormous lack of understanding. Due to close-mindedness? Possibly, but I don't personally know any of you so I won't come to any conclusions. I would like to think that everyone could extend the same courtesy.

We are born with a natural desire to be creative, all of us in some form. Then we are taught to “color in the lines”. Thank goodness for Picasso, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Ernest Hemmingway. Free thinkers who chose their path in spite of critics. It’s a shame that there is a long list of greats that were never appreciated alive as they have been after they are pushing up daisies.

Clothing is a personal thing. But if Ralph Lauren or Gucci began creating mohair catsuits, I would imagine a large number of you would jump on that bandwagon singing a different tune. I am one of those individuals that find pleasure in not only seeing the many creative garments by MohairKnitter but also in wearing them. I am not asking you to understand that because I don’t understand it myself. It’s part of who I am and denying that about myself would be the same as denying that I like classical music just because everyone I spend time with everyday prefers country. There are many styles of music that I don’t appreciate, but the reason for so many types and styles of music is so that we can all be different and find enjoyment in what pleases us.

I detest rap music, NASCAR racing, horror movies, and asparagus, but apparently some people like them because you can find them everywhere. I find no pleasure in bashing people for liking things that I don’t. “To each his own.” No one is asking you to like MohairKnitter’s creations, but with the overly critical view you have taken towards a person you know nothing about, I think you need to find yourself a hammock, pop the top on a Corona and listen to a little Jimmy Buffett. It’s time to relax a little. Learn to find a little something in everything that you can appreciate.

MohairKnitter, knit on and please continue coloring outside of the lines.
