Wild Thang

By whatnottoknit

Guess what this pattern calls for? All novelty yarns
and 25 mm needles for that “lacey look”!
Ahhhh, a knitter’s dream for sure.

Thanks Catherine for sending this one in!
As she said, it’s so bad it’s almost good….LOL

What the hell is that thing hanging from the back? Its almost salvagable if it didnt have that thing, whatever it is.

  2. Christy Says:

It’s a… HOOD. For your lacey fun-fur extravaganza. In case your head gets “not itchy”.

  3. Luci Says:

Whats with the pony tail in the back?

  4. badkitty Says:

Ahahaha…it’s a hood. f’ing litereally…a LACY hood. with a bigass tassle on the end.

You could nearly salvage it….with major mods. or use a completely different pattern and save yourself the headache :)

  5. AJ Says:

Take the hood OFF, use only one color of pretty yarn, and you just might have something.
This just belongs in the recycle bin.

What could be more practical, cozy and attractive than bits of fuzzy string looped together to form a loose net around the arms and shoulders, with dangling doodly things on both ends? The hood is particularly clever, because when it falls in front of your face, you’ll still be able to see where you’re going.

This one leaves me speechless……..looks like something the dog drug in

  8. Maryann Says:

Okay, obviously it’s completely horrible in almost every way… but I kind of like the colors. They look kind of nice together.

  9. Ravenne Says:

This looks absolutely PERFECT! I could just imagine wearing it… of course, I have 3 cats and I would be their living cat toy! Er, that’s what it is, isn’t it? Just a really big cat toy? Or maybe it’s a mini fish net? You are lost, abandoned on an island, lonely… this could SAVE you! Okay, so I’m facetious, I shudder at the thought of it…

  10. Larjmarj Says:

It’s like wearing a yarn barf.

Um, could somebody contact the local conservation department to see when this sucker comes into season? I, for one, can’t WAIT to gun one of these down and bring it home to show the family. Not much meat, but my cousin might be able to do a dandy job of taxidermy on it. . .

  12. col Says:

ok…a HOOD w/A TASSLE… ? i thought it was tied in the back showing another alternate tying option… and i was about to say… different yarn & this might not be such a tragedy… but a HOOD w/A RIDICULOUSLY COMICALLY LONG TASSLE????? yeah… some things are just plain wrong

    very plainly wrong

  13. Double Take Says:

    Ch-ch-ch-Chia Shrug?

  14. leslie r Says:

a yarn barf!!! omg that is hilarious!

  15. Beth Says:

Isn’t it a lion halloween costume?

If dogs could cry real tears, this one would be.

  16. Crafty Nature Says:

without the hood this might be wearable
