Introduction From One Of The New Contributers

Hi there! My name is Jessie, and I am one of the new contributers for What Not To Knit. You might or might not know me from my blog at Davidsdoll.com, but that is where you can generally find me. Ive been blogging over there for over two years.
I have been knitting for two years now, and Ive recently taken up sock knitting. My stash is bigger than you need to know, and my fiber of choice is soy.
Now, on to the good stuff. I have a great collection of knitting patterns from the 80’s, like the one above, which I got from a little old lady off of Freecycle. I will be posting pictures from these old patterns mostly, and when I run out, I shall seek more. I am all about the old fashioned fug. I dont know about my blogging team mates here, but I LOVE to laugh at full length knit dresses with a random leather belt of a completely opposing color. Oh yes, it exists, people. And I have pictures to prove it.
I look forward to bringing you some excellent fugness Not To Knit over the coming months, maybe even years.

There is absolutely no fug like 80s fug. Ugliest fashions ever created.
Thanks for volunteering.

A jumper that falls between two stools, and looks like a lot of work into the bargain. The 80s encapsulated.

Freecycle? Hmmmm, maybe the garbage would’ve been a better place for these to end up? Nah, then you wouldn’t have them to post here! LOL

Freecycle? How come no one on the DFW freecycle lists ever have anything this good? You are SO lucky. I would kill for crap like this.
Yeah, right. Just what I need, more old knitting patterns just like the ones I threw out in the ’90s.
