It looks like an interesting project to knit for the increases and decreases. And I’ll knit most anything if it seems interesting and unusual.

I think it would be more practical and warmer than a cowl (which I prefer to scarves as they slip) in very cold whether.

I’d chose a different color and yarn, but that’s just my taste.

I saw a pair of slipper boot things knitted in a similar style and color to this, they were worse than this.

I would love to wear this hat. When I take my dogs out to the spit with wind howling from the Pacific Ocean and often rain wity it, a hat is not enough, nor is a scarf with a hat enough. This would be perfect–I could wear it under my waterproof slicker hood and my head, neck and shoulders would remain warm and the dogs would get a longer walk and I would be much happier. In fact, I hope to make this pattern up before next winter!

i can see wearing this if it was really really cold, maybe out of a different yarn though and a different color.
