Don’t get me wrong, I love Thick And Quick, it’s my favorite cheap yarn. But there are things that you just shouldnt do with it. I like it for hats, it makes warm hats. Blankets, or big scarves, that’s what it’s for! But not for this, especially if you’re going to pair it with a floral print long sleeve shirt that doesn’t even remotely match.
Also, unibrow or no unibrow here? Is that a shadow or what? Discuss.

I think she’s a beautiful little girl! Picking on a child’s eyebrows is harmful and mean.

I agree, she’s adorable, and man, I’d wear that outfit.

It’s one thing to make fun of the knitting, another thing to make fun of a child’s features. Even if it is a unibrow, she’s too young to have to do anything about it.

Ahhh…don’t diss her unibrown. I think she looks adorable! Though, yeah, the sweater looks a little…peasanty…

Not a totally fugly sweater – maybe with a different out fit underneath.
And I agree with the others – don’t pick on the kid. She has such a sweet smile! Makes me go Awwwww – so cute

I must join the chorus. The clothes are fine, and the child is as cute as all get-out.

total shadow…
the vest is cute the floral turtleneck is not.
the child is freaking adorable!

She is such an adorable angel! That outfit however, comes straight from the pits of hell. Maybe, just maybe, if it were a different color????????

I think the outfit is cute on her, and no, I did not see a unibrow. I ‘ve seen plenty of things I would not knit, but this top is pretty neat.

I like it, reminds me of the baby jacket in Mason Dixon Knitting.

Okay, it MAY be a unibrow, but I was cursed with one eyebrow as a young child too, so she’ll be okay. She just needs to be taught the fine art of tweezing.

As someone who was once the only girl in class with a mustache, I must protest making fun of the little unibrow. It’s not like the poor kid can work tweezers at this age.

Somebody really needs to call children’s services and report who ever made that poor little boy wear that, pity.

Now be nice to the little kid. She might just find this site when she’s old enough to surf the net.
Her mother should be shot, however.

I know there’s little point commenting on an old post. But this one made me sad, and it made me reconsider posting the blog-link to my forum. Real knitters do not pick on children for entertainment.

You all are too sensative! what if we take a shot at the parents for not correcting the unibrow? I mean would they have left her crosseyed or club footed, two other easy fixes these days?

The great thing about knitting for your children is that they HAVE to wear it, and usually they have no idea how hideous it is until they see the old pictures at their fortieth birthday party…

I think the item is cute.and either way cute or not picking on that little girl is wrong.shes a baby for christ sake this is supposed 2 be a site about pointing out knitting mishaps, things you shouldnt knit correct? so why make cheap shots at poor defensless babies.that really sad.

Looks like that one uniform Kirk wore sometimes.

I believe that unibrowed child is wearing my favorite color of thick and quick! Lemongrass!
February 27, 2009 at 10:00 pm
both the kid and the sweater are hideous

What a knitting faux pas! The child should be shot along with the mother! I mean, my GOD, Isn’t she on an eyebrow waxing regimen already?! Our modern styles are SO much better than what clueless women used to be into. How informed and intelligent we are!
This site fuckin’ blows.
